“StrikeHawk-Six”

Bob Mitchell is the CEO and Chief Flight Instructor at Strikehawk Aviation.  “Strikehawk-Six” was Bob’s call sign during a highly successful MEDEVAC Battalion Command tour in Iraq.  Bob started Strikehawk Aviation in 2014 shortly after retiring from a 31-year military aviation career.   Bob takes great pride in overseeing a family-run aviation business.  Strikehawk Aviation is an FAA Part-61 Flight School specializing in Private, Instrument, Commercial, ATP (ASEL), and CFI training.   He is also currently employed with CAE as a Grob-120TP Instructor Pilot in support of the U.S. Army Fixed Wing Training Program at the Dothan Training Center.  Bob has been an aviation enthusiast for more than 35 years and always strives to go beyond the FAA minimums for pilot certification.  Strikehawk Aviation enjoys an enviable reputation for pilot training excellence and looks forward to assisting you in achieving your aviation training goals.
